Relaytour Cloud charter
Who this service is for
Relaytour helps a team prepare a recurring event. It keeps the method from one edition to the next, shares tasks between coordinators and sends reminders before due dates. Relaytour is free software (AGPL-3.0 license). You can install it yourself, for free, on your own server.
With Relaytour Cloud, we host it for you if you have neither a server nor anyone to look after it. This service is for nonprofits, public bodies and companies. It is not offered to individuals.
Relaytour Cloud is operated by Design Horizon. Subscriptions to Relaytour Cloud fund the development of the software.
What is free
- The software’s code, its documentation and its updates.
- All the software’s features: none is reserved for the paid offer.
- Installation on your own server, with the guide provided in the repository.
- Answers to public questions in the repository, within the limits of our volunteer time.
What is paid
Relaytour Cloud includes:
- an installation of the software reserved for your organization, on a server located in France;
- an address in your name, your-organization.relaytour.app;
- sending the software’s emails (sign-in codes, reminders, digests);
- daily backups and their restoration when needed;
- software updates;
- a support address, with a reply within five business days.

- An activity is what your organization does over time: an event, a section, a governing body.
- The price does not depend on the number of members. You invite as many people as you wish.
- The number of archived editions is not limited.
- The nonprofit price applies once you give your RNA or SIREN number.
These prices cover the infrastructure and the operating time. Every year we publish a transparency page: revenue, infrastructure spending, time spent, and what remains. Prices change at most once a year, and we inform you three months in advance.
Trial
You can try the service for 30 days, with no credit card. The trial installation becomes your permanent installation if you subscribe. Without a subscription, it becomes read-only for 15 days, then we delete it.
Our commitments
- Your data belongs to you. We use your organization’s data only to provide the service. We do not sell it and we pass it on to no one.
- One installation per organization. Your database, your accounts and your sessions are shared with no other organization.
- GDPR data processing. We sign with you a data processing agreement under Article 28 of the GDPR. Your organization remains the data controller.
- Reversibility. On request, we hand over within thirty days an export of your data and a full backup of your database. This backup restores onto a self-hosted installation of the same version.
- No loss at the end of a subscription. At the end of the term, your installation stays readable for 30 days, then it is suspended for 60 days. A renewal during this period restores everything. We hand over your data before any deletion.
- Notice of closure. If we stop the service, we notify you six months in advance and we hand over your data. The software stays free: you or another host can carry on.
- Transparency. The code we run is the code of the public repository, at the version shown on your installation.
- Location. Your data is hosted in France, by the providers named in the privacy policy.
What the service does not do
- It does not handle public registrations, payments or ticketing.
- It does not replace your email: the emails sent are those of the software.
- It does not include custom development. A feature request goes through the public repository and benefits everyone.
